Morning Walks in The Hague

Three weeks of summer break have passed, and I am really surprised to find out that, during these three weeks, I managed to keep a super healthy lifestyle. I usually go to bed at 10:30 pm and get up before 6:30 am. After breakfast, I work out for 30 minutes in my room.

A few days ago my bestie and I had a sleep-over session. As I get up super early, I thought it would be good that I go for morning walks outside instead of keeping my bestie awake and letting her watch me do some granny-style 80s’ aerobics. It turned out to be a fantastic decision that I fell in love with walking in the early morning.

Why do I love morning walks in The Hague?

  1. The Hague has a lot of trees
  2. I can see tourist attractions when there are no tourists around
  3. I can listen to the birds singing
  4. Fresh air
  5. It’s good for your health
  6. I can grab some groceries on my way back. And etc. etc…

Below are the pictures I took on my way. The morning walks were incredibly delightful. I will definitely miss this city a lot when I move to Leiden in August for my Master’s programme… *Nostalgic music comes in* But anyways, the Netherlands is a beautiful little country in general. Lucky to be studying here!
