Haven’t had the chance to explore the rich collections of the Leiden museums? Or you have already been to some but looking for to complete the list? Leiden Museum Night is the perfect opportunity for any art lover, be a night owl or not, to explore the museums and have a perfect night out with various additional events, unique to this night.
Starting from 8 pm, Leiden museums will be open until 1 am at the night connecting 18th May to 19th. Organized annually, Leiden Museum Night is the time to see all those gorgeous museums with night light, even more, magical than they usually are.
Following museums will be open:
Ticket for adults is 14 EUR, but you should check whether any of the discounts apply to you, no student discount, unfortunately. It is also possible to get tickets on the 18th of May, in case you decide to go at the last minute.
Even though the collections of museums are already too rich to finish at one night, the evening is also complemented with workshops, presentations, performances, DJ’s, art, guided tours and films. You can check the programme and buy your tickets via https://museumnachtleiden.nl/en.
If you miss this one (strongly recommended not to), other cities in the Netherlands also have museum nights. Rotterdam one was on 2nd of March while the Amsterdam one is organized on the first Saturday of November every year, and the Hague one took place at the end of June last year.
Will you be joining to this magical night? Which museums do you think are a must? Let me know in the comments!
